The SYSNAV Personal Location Device is a wearable technology designed for first responders. Worn around the ankle, it tracks the wearer’s location in real-time, even in environments where GPS signals are weak or unavailable, such as underground or inside buildings. This device uses advanced inertial navigation systems to ensure continuous tracking, making it an essential tool for ensuring the safety and coordination of first responders during an operation.

  • Sensor Array: Includes magnetometers, accelerometers, gyrometers, and a barometer for dead reckoning-based trajectory estimation.
  • Real-Time Data Transmission: Syncs location data with an Android application, which converts it into absolute coordinates and broadcasts it to a cloud server.
  • Motion Detection: Capable of detecting various motions such as walking, crawling, or a man-down situation, which is critical for monitoring first responders' status during SAR missions
