6 -An important objective of Synergise is to develop technologies that help to maintain and protect the **physical and mental integrity of first responders** so they can perform effectively during the missing and recover safely after.

It includes for example  work-related fatigue, physical and mental workload, and stress.  Ensuring recovery time and managing trauma are approaches to reduce long-term health risks.
